12 Month Contract – Inside IR35

Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Designer to join our team for an offshore brownfield project in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and detailing of structural frames, modifications, and pipe supports primarily using E3D and Pointcloud technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute structural design and draughting activities within the E3D environment.
- Prepare high-quality structural drawings and design deliverables under the guidance of engineering personnel.
- Develop structural drawings based on agreed work scopes.
- Utilize e3DCAD modelling and draughting techniques effectively.
- Adhere to established draughting standards and specifications.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.
- Assess the effectiveness of working practices and systems to identify areas for continuous improvement in both personal and team performance.
Qualifications:
- HNC in an appropriate Engineering subject.
- Minimum of 12 months prior experience in a similar role.
Skills:
- Proficiency in E3D and Pointcloud applications.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with engineering personnel.
